Hemdat Sagi is the Chief of Strategy and Business Development at Konnect - Volkswagen Group Innovation Hub TLV, Volkswagen's innovation outpost located in the heart of Israel's tech ecosystem. Having been facilitating business relationships between Israel and Germany for almost 10 years, Hemdat was heading Israel’s Economic & Trade Mission in Germany as Israel's Commercial Attaché and has filled the role of the Israeli director for hy, Axel Springer’s consulting arm, prior to her engagement with Konnect.

Apart from her years-long effort to promote Israel on a corporate and governmental level, Hemdat has also been actively contributing to the international exchange of leadership best practices. Her being a member of the Bertelsmann Foundation's exclusive program connecting the next generation of the two countries' most outstanding leaders is just one example worth mentioning.
