Orlie Gruper is a General Partner at Mobilitech Capital, a venture fund focusing on smart capital investments in novel technologies within the mobility space. With over 16 years of experience in the transportation world, Orlie was the Executive Director at EcoMotion, Israel’s number one smart mobility network fostering the sector’s continuous growth and innovation. As part of her ambassadorship, Orlie represented the Israeli transportation ecosystem on countless international panels, stages and communities – among others, at the European Commission and at the European Union. Before joining EcoMotion, she founded the start-up Blitz Electric Motors, a two-wheeled electric vehicle company, as Israel’s first female entrepreneur in the mobility sector. Her path in the transportation industry however started long before her first business engagement and as early as during her service in the Israeli Air Force, where she was a commander in the operations room of an F16 squad.

Today, Orlie still deeply cares about both, Israel’s mobility industry and the leverage, power and support of networks. In 2018, she founded the Women in Mobility (WIM) community, aiming to grow the number of women in the industry by sharing challenges and opportunities while providing tools for professional growth.
