It's virtually impossible to mention the German car manufacturer Daimler AG in Israel's high tech scene and not think of Adi Ofek just a split second later. Since 2016, Adi has been heading the Israeli Mercedes-Benz Research and Development office as its local CEO. By no means, however, was Adi new to the Daimler / Mercedes-Benz cosmos when the renowned Israeli R&D center opened its doors in Tel Aviv. Having joined the company's early activities in Israel as Credit Risk Manager in 2000, Adi then became the Regional Credit Operations Director Africa and Asia Pacific in Singapore, before relocating to Seoul in 2014 to become CEO of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Korea.

What a ride! Lucky for the Israeli tech ecosystem that Adi came back in 2016 to head the then newly opened satellite office for digitalization in Israel – looking back at over 15 years of executive experience in Daimler's global subsidiaries.

Now, Adi passionately blends her international management expertise into the Israeli way of business. Inspiring diverse and multicultural teams across countries and continents is just one of the many skills and challenges she juggles on a daily basis.
